G. Achintyan (Carnatic Violin)

-Hemavathi was played very well, and so was the Dhanasri Thillana. Excellent accompaniment by the supporting artistes. (Rama Arana Prasad)

The concert was very entertaining with famous pieces being played. Raghu Vamsa Sudha made the concert really energetic.The concert was a feast to the ears. (Nishanth)

Sushma Somasekharan (Carnatic Vocal)

-It was a brilliant and superb concert. She displayed great confidence. After a crisp Abhogi varnam, her rendition of the ragas Hamsanadham and Kamboji were notably captivating. The accompanying artistes on the violin, mridangam and ghatam gave able support. (G.Natarajan)

-Sushma’s voice is clear and well aligned with the sruthi and it enabled her to render a beautiful concert. Her manodharma was fluent and filed with raagabhava.The rendition of Mukhari raga was also notable. Srinath Iyer provided able support on the the violin, Devarajan on the Mridangam and Pallavarajan on the Ghatam.

-The alapana of Hamsanadham raagam was excellent, and she did justice to Kamboji Raagam.The acoompanying artistes were very good.
