Souravbrata Chakraborty(Sitar):

Sourav began the recital in lalith gowri, played a mellow alap followed by jor and jhala and ended it with a vilambhit gat in teen taal. With a mellow beginning, he reached a crescendo in the gat and did full justice to rag and the flavour of the gayaki ang. He then played raga purvi and darbari. His concert was both melodious and technically sound and very enjoyable – Mrs. Renuka vaidyanathan.
A splendid performance ! My favourite Darbari Kanada was well played. Nuances of each raga was portrayed in all the songs – Mrs. Kamala DasAn excellent concert started off in a very soothing way and ended with a roar.Introduction of raga before each and every song made the programme very interesting for non-learners like me – Mrs. H. Geethanjali

Dr. Siri Rama (Kuchipudi)
The dancer’s mastery was evident in all her choreographies particularly the ‘Laya Ranga’ piece. Audience had a visual treat as Siri danced effortlessly on the brass plate with her daughter Amara playing the role of Krishna – Ms. Jyoti Unni
Dramatic narration of the elaborate Ramayana in a nutshell presented by Siri was interesting and innovative. In the leela tarang on Krishna, surprise entry of her daughter as little naughty Krishna made the item extremely special and was a treat to watch. Siri, a very knowledgeable dancer, had fantastic footwork and excellent taala control, especially when she presented the main feat of Kuchipudi, dancing on the plate. Together, Siri and Amara were a perfect choice for opening show – Ms. Saroopa Das
