An amazing performance! The pakkavadhiyam provided excellent support!(Akila)

Suresh Thyagarajan PROVED that he is chip of the old block.,(The grandson of the great flutist (Vidhwan N.Ramani)The kutcheri never had any dull moment. He always exploited the beautiful melody that flute can give. The ragas rendered were lovely.Mr.Ganesh kumar gave a very good support on the Violin and his rendering ofAnanda Bhairavi and Abheri were excellent.Ramana gave good support on the mrindangam.(Poorna Pragna Rao-SIFAS teacher)

S.Hariharan (Carnatic Vocal)
-Good traditional concert. Hariharan, who has good voice clarity at the lower octaves as well, showed a strong pathantara and bhavam. He maintained a brisk tempo and balance. Keeravani raga alapana of both Hariharan and Ganesh Kumar were outstanding. Well supported by a full complement of accompanists. (Balasubramanian)

The entire performance was sung beautifully and was on the whole, very good. (Sindhuja)

V. Shankaranarayanan (Carnatic Vocal)
-Sri Shankarnarayanan delivered a flawless 2-hour feast to the ears in the time-honoured paani of earlier times The twin highlights of the concert were the Kharaharapriya. In the latter half which moved majestically along, and the Vachaspathi piece in the fist half that danced a lively tune with brisk swaras. The accompanying artistes offered ample support, with occasional flashes of brilliance.
(Dr. N. Krishnamurthy)

-His fast paced style and strong adherence to shruthi added to the listening pleasure. It was a great team and an enjoyable concert overall.
(Suman Sambamoorthy)

-Shankar is a traditional artiste who presents all the items necessary in a Carnatic concert. The accompanying artistes were excellent.

S.S.Sripriya(Carnatic Vocal)
She has a very clear and cultivated voice. The sequence of songs for an early afternoon concert was very good. The best part was the Thodi, swarams rendered with excellent confidence.(Rajaraman).

Her crystal clear voice and effortless rendering of brigas lifted the concert to another level altogether. Her brisk rendition of Lathangi(Venkataramana)is worth special mention. She was ably supported by Srinath Iyer on the Violin and Sai Akileshwar on the Mridangam (Lavanya Ramesh)

Chitra Poornima (Carnatic Vocal)
-Kutcheri was delightful. ‘Piece de resistance’ was Kharaharapriya, which was rendered very well. The kalpana swaras were innovative and delivered with zest by all artistes on the stage.
All in all, it was a treat to the higher senses. (Gurunath Hari)

-Her brigas were very clear, she was very careful while attempting niraval. Her overall performance was well done with confidence. (Raju Shekar)
